This remarkable result was due to excellent publication by faculty members and researchers and research environment that meets global standards. Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine has risen to 41st in the 2019 rankings announced last year after entering the world's top 100 (88th) in 2016 THE Rankings by Subject, which was released in 2015. In this year's assessment, 14 Asian universities ranked in the top 100.The highest rated among them is the National University of Singapore (19th), followed by the University of Tokyo (21st) and Hong Kong University (28th).

Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine has risen to 41st in the 2019 rankings announced last year after entering the world's top 100 (88th) in 2016 THE Rankings by Subject, which was released in 2015.
