Sungkyunkwan University Holds the Opening Ceremony of the ‘NH Nonghyup Data Science Project Course”
On April 14 (Fri), the SKKU Extension School held the opening ceremony for the "NH Nonghyup Data Science Project Course" at the International Hall of the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus.
The "NH Nonghyup Data Science Project Course" is a master's-level program jointly developed by the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation Human Resources Development Institute and the Department of Data Science Convergence at our university.
This course will carry out a total of 160 hours of theory, practice, and projects for the 23 executives and employees of NH Nonghyup affiliates. In particular, the project practice course, which accounts for half of the total curriculum, is designed to maximize the relationship between curriculum content and practice by directly solving and presenting problems in the field derived by learners.
"In the era of digital transformation, big data utilization capabilities will be a key factor in the success or failure of the organization," said Eung-kyu Kim, head of the Nonghyup Human Resources Development Institute.
Lee Jung-hwan, head of the SKKU Extension School, said, "We will do our best to contribute to the development of digital talent in NH Nonghyup through Sungkyunkwan University's competitive AI convergence program."
Meanwhile, all graduates will be issued Kingo Degree-AI (Data Science), a digital badge that certifies their job skills in the field of AI (Data Science).
