Holds a Symposium on New Drugs and Medical Marijuana

The department of forensics (Dean, Si-Keun Lim) announced that they will hold a 2020 symposium on the information and DB of new drugs and management status of medical marijuana with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safe on October 28 (Wed).
In this online symposium, Ph.D. Simon Elliott and Ph.D. Vincenzo Abbate who have the highest authority over new drugs, and Marilyn Huestis, a world-renowned scholar in marijuana research will participate.
As the domestic lecturers, Hee-Sun Jung (SKKU professor), Ph.D Il-Chung Shin (National Forensic Service), and Hyun-Joo Ahn (Analysist, Korea Customs Service) planned to participate.
Additionally, the symposium which will be held online, is expected to have a meaningful academic discussion for related experts from Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, National Forensic Service, Supreme Prosecutors’ Office, Korea Customs Service, Korean National Police Agency and SKKU’s department of forensics.
