A Friendly Sports Exchange with Korea Military Academy
- About 160 students and officials from SKKU and KMA attended for student exchange and pleasant talks
SKKU and Korea Military Academy held a friendly sports exchange event on October 23 (Sun) at the Lawn Stadium of SKKU Humanities and Social Sciences Campus to nurture high-tech academic talents and world leaders and to promote exchanges between the two schools.
This event was held with great success in the sunny autumn weather with about 160 athletes and supporters from both schools in attendance. Korea Military Academy won the soccer game and SKKU won the baseball game. In addition to soccer and baseball games, SKKU and Korea Military Academy students had a fun and meaningful time in a group at the soccer ball exchange and baseball control event.
In the opening speech, SKKU President Dong Ryeol Shin said, “The two schools have a very similar founding ideology. We will actively support a harmony between the two schools and for student culture and academic exchanges.”
After the first match held at SKKU, the second match will be held at the Korea Military Academy’s soccer field and baseball stadium on October 27 (Thur).
