다소미

"Dasomi" is an official student volunteer group in Sungkyunkwan University's Student Affairs Division. It is an organization that strives to practice sharing and caring, both internally and externally, is derived from the Korean word "Dasom" meaning love. Since its foundation in 1996, Dasomi has worked based on the idea that services can be provided even in very small parts of our lives. Dasomi does its best to provide hope to neighbors in need of help as well as to promote self-confidence and foster good self-consciousness through its members' volunteer work under the principle of "I can help others myself".

Dasomi coordinates official SKKU events (Injajeon, etc.) to ensure they run smoothly and encourage students to participate in the event. During the festivals, Dasomi opens a weekly booth to sell items that help the socially disadvantaged and promote related campaigns. Other volunteer activities include working in farming villages, providing education services for local children centers, and conducting mentoring camps for college students under the Korean Scholarship Foundation. In addition, the school conducts student-autonomous volunteer work such as the "Thank You" project to send appreciation letters and gifts to the school's environment cleaners and traffic agents.

Externally, regular services are performed more than once a week in conjunction with Margaret's Children's Center and the Jongno General Social Welfare Center. They promote the improvement of academic abilities and emotional development of elementary and middle school students, and help make memories and spend in meaningful ways. In addition, the school strives to deliver the value of sharing and consideration that Dosomi seeks by actively searching for appropriate services, such as providing heating briquettes, assistance at Kimchi cultural events, and mural services.
