This grant awarded by the OeAD (Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation) and the BMBWF (Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science, and Research) is designed for undergraduate and graduate students under the age of 35, of non-European nationality and of all study disciplines.

The monthly grant rate of € 1.050,- will be awarded for a period of between four and ten months. Travel subsidies might also apply. The grant is an option for all students who plan to study at FHWien der WKW University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication during the next winter semester (end of August 2022 - January 2023) and/or summer semester (February 2023 – early July 2023). 

Please note that there is only ONE application deadline for the grant (1st of March) per academic year, including both winter semester (end of August – January) and summer semester (February – early July). As students need an acceptance letter from FHWien der WKW for their application, they have to apply with us first. That is why we set up a special nomination and application deadline for students who wish to apply for the grant: 

Nomination deadline: 15th of January
Application deadline: 31st of January

Nomination and application deadlines for students who do not wish to apply for the grant, remain the same: May 15 (nom.) / May 31 (appl.) for the winter semester, October 15 (nom.) / October 31 (appl.) for the summer semester.
