KT Corporation and SKKU signed an MOU on Dec 15th, for the construction of a Smart Innovative Campus.
Through this agreement, students of SKKU will receive various convenient services from Giga network infra, which can support to overcome difficulties due to the physical distance between Seoul and Suwon campus. Also, Desktop Virtual Device Interface (VDI) of SKKU which is interlocked with Cloud Infra of KT Corporation is expected to increase information security by separating areas into work and personnel matters.
Furthermore, together, the KT Corporation and SKKU will develop and operate various services in such areas of; giga network, internet protocol telephone network, cloud, etc.
“The Giga network that KT Corporation provides will help to decrease the severance of the two campuses due to physical distance, and it will support our convergence research and education to become more innovative", President Kyu Sang CHUNG said.
