The Leading University for Start-up Project was launched in 2011 in cooperation with the Ministry of SMEs and Start-ups, with the goal of transforming universities into entrepreneurial hubs in their local communities. The project provides start-up support in a package form to prospective entrepreneurs among the students and the general public, including training, item searches, commercialization, and follow-ups.
Qualifications: Prospective entrepreneurs, businesses less than three years old
Provide commercialization support for prospective entrepreneurs with promising technology and business value using the school's excellent infrastructure
Provide expenses for prototype production and marketing with government funding (up to 100 million KRW), while offering opportunities in the global market and attracting investment attraction in connection with mentoring program

Professional Course for the General Public: Foster technology-based entrepreneurs through practical, hands-on curriculum for both students and non-students

Select entrepreneurial student organizations in and out of campus every year and offer education, expert mentorship, and commercialization funds to foster excellent youth entrepreneurs
Youth Entrepreneurship and Local Cooperation Program
Youth Start-up Dream Camp: Provides education and follow-up support through practical start-up education, oversea trip funding, and idea contests in collaboration with Gyeonggi-do
Rewards youths and prospective entrepreneurs with innovative ideas, with prizes and other benefits
Global Market Entry and Investment Attraction Assistance
Provides systematic assistance such as intensive training and mentoring through strategic cooperation with overseas markets and investment attraction agencies
as well as encourages participation in IR events at home and abroad, leading to actual global market entry and attraction of investment.
Technology Startup Support
Recruit (preliminary) entrepreneurs with backgrounds in Fourth Industrial Revolution and cutting-edge fusion technologies,
for systematic training in core fields needed for successful technology start-ups

One-stop Counselling: For students and non-students with entrepreneurial interests ranging from general advice to expert counselling
Start-up Hanmadang Tour: Consists of large-scale festivals with entrepreneurial themes such as talk concerts and exhibitions, held through a coalition between SKKU and related institutions
