SKKU held the 2017 Matriculation Ceremony on Feb 27th (Monday) at Suseong Hall, Natural Sciences Campus. About 4,000 freshmen were welcomed at the ceremony.
The faculties of the academic board including President Kyu Sang CHUNG, visited ‘Sungkyun Dae Sung Jun’ before the matriculation ceremony, in order to practice ‘Go You Rye’ which is the unique ceremony of SKKU informing the beginning of the big event (matriculation, graduation, building new construction, etc) at Confucius shrine.
Many alumni and students who play active parts in various fields attended and celebrated the entrance of the new students. Corresponding with SKKU’ vision ‘Truly, Global Leading University’, a student Gasimoba LEILA from Russia read the freshman oath as a representative of all freshmen.
