The Australian Ambassador to Korea, James CHOI, visited SKKU and had a meeting with SKKU’s president, Kyu Sang CHUNG on Feb 27th (Monday).
At the meeting, they exchanged ideas to develop the cooperation between Australia and SKKU. In particular, they discussed to materialize on the establishment of ‘SKKU Australian Studies Centre’ which has been in development.
Moreover, for the New Colombo Plan (Australian students overseas study program) which the Australian government is highly emphasizing, the Australian Embassy agreed to give its full support so that the program can be actively operated at SKKU. From this meeting, the bilateral ties between Australia and SKKU are expected to develop further.
