Loh, President of University of Maryland, United States of America, visited Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU). President Loh met Dr. Dong-ok Cha, Vice President of SKKU International Affairs and Jun-Young Kim, President of SKKU. They discussed about exchanges between the two universities and signed the agreement of academic exchange (MOU). In addition, they continue to explore ways for various exchanges, such as exchanges of students and researches, double degree programs, Etc. In particular, professor Seung-Kyung Kim, Director of East Asian Studies at the University of Maryland, showed great interest in the excellent programs and research of SKKU’s East Asian Studies, and wished for a continuous reinforcement of university partnership. University of Maryland (University of Maryland-College Park) is a state university located in Maryland. It is world class University, ranked No.55 in the United States and No.94 in the world. This prestigious university’s faculty comprises of Nobel Prize winners in the field of literature, physics, and economics.

On June 15 (Friday) Wallace D. Loh, President of University of Maryland, United States of America, visited Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU). President Loh met Dr. Dong-ok Cha, Vice President of SKKU International Affairs and Jun-Young Kim, President of SKKU.
