SKKU Leaps to #297 Academic Ranking of World Universities
Sunkyunkwan University (SKKU) advanced to #297 on the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2012 conducted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). SKKU has leaped 15 ranks compared to #312 ranking last year and entered into the 200s list of world’s top universities. It stands fourth among Korean universities; Seoul National University, Yonsei University, and KAIST.

SKKU’s advancement in the field of &SCIENCE (N&S), SCIE/SSCI (PUB) and PCP ranks index has attributed to the overall advancement in the world rankings. However, SKKU did not receive scores on categories that make up 50% of the overall score; Alumni, Award and Highly Cited Researchers (HiCi).
