International Students Make ‘Kimbab’and ‘Bunchimgae’
During the International Summer Semester 2012

On July 11, at the 600th Anniversary Hall, Sunkyunkwan University (SKKU) 1,431 global university students from 79 universities across 35 countries participating in the SKKU ISS program held the “International Food Festival” and had a chance to experience Korean culture by making ‘Kimbab’ (seaweed rice rolls) and ’Buchimgae’ (Korean pancakes).


A group of foreign students dressed in traditional Korean costume ‘Hanbok’ made a long line of ‘Kimbab’ while others cooked ‘Bunchimgae.’ This cultural experience was organized and held in order to unite intelligence and passion of global youths by making ‘Kimbab’ together, as well as to create hope for the future through global convergence.
