Total of 2245 main props of Korea (1170 Bachelors, 904 Masters, 171 Doctors) will enter into the society after the graduation ceremony. Before the ceremony, 33 faculties including President Jun Young Kim will participate in the GoYuRye(告由禮), reenacting 600-year-old traditional graduation ceremony of the Joseon Dynasty, from 10:30 to 10:50 at Daeseongjeon, a shrine dedicated to 39 sacred ancient sages including Kung Fu-tzu. Meanwhile, there are many graduating students who are drawing attention at the graduation ceremony. # SKKU, a global leading university, established the Global Economics department in 2009 and tried to nurture outstanding human resources. As a result, Jin-wook Choi (graduate of Busan International High School, class of 2009) will be the first Early Graduate student to finish in 7 semesters. Jin-wook Choi’s GPA is 4.44, graduating from the college of Economics at the head of his class, also receive a bachelor’s degree from University of Birmingham, England (3 semesters in SKKU, 4 semesters in University of Birmingham). He has been accepted to the Master’s degree program at the University of Cambridge and is expected to begin this October. # 10 famous CEOs who brought hot issues in 2010 by admitting GSCS (Graduated School of Confucian Studies), SKKU, including Jeon-Yon-Chrul (former chairman of office of Fair Trade), will receive the Master’s degree together in this ceremony. Even though these CEOs are in their 60s~70s, they had studied enthusiastically during the past 5 semesters showing their strength. Among them, Woo Cheol Kwak (Vice president of Tempis Asset Management) has been accepted to the PhD program. Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony of SKKU (President, Jun Young Kim) will be held on Aug 24 (FRI) 11:00 at the New Millennium Hall, B2 600th Anniversary Hall, Seoul campus. Total of 2245 main props of Korea (1170 Bachelors, 904 Masters, 171 Doctors) will enter into the society after the graduation ceremony.
