SKKU Participates in EAIE 2013

Dr. Dong-Ok Cha, Vice President of SKKU Office of International Affairs, participated in the European Association for International Education (EAIE) 2013 in Dublin, Ireland, from September 11^th to 14^th where he discussed possibilities of expanding exchange and signing new agreements with various universities from around the world. Also, the Office of International Affairs promoted the QS-APPLE (QS Asia Pacific Professional Leaders in Education) Conference being hosted by SKKU in November 2013.  

During the 2013 EAIE conference where more than 4300 educational officers were present, SKKU explored the possibilities for expanding exchange and carried out progressive discussions regarding future cooperation and improving relationships through meetings with more than 50 universities from around the world; existing partner universities from Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Hungary, Turkey, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, China, Taiwan; as well as possible new partner universities such as Ecole Centrale d'Electroniqu, Universite Catholique de Lille (France), Technical University of Berlin, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management (Germany), University of Leeds (UK), University of Alicante (Spain).

By participating in the 2013 EAIE conference, SKKU’s Office of International Affairs has planned to establish and implement plans of expanding graduate student and faculty exchange with European Universities.
