Samsung Electronics Opens ‘Galaxy Note 10.1 Class’ in SKKU

On September 27, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., announced that they will install ‘Galaxy Note 10.1’ on all seats in one lecture hall for the Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) College of Economics to provide students with a differentiated educational experience.

This project is part of the company’s ‘How to Live Smart’ campaign; to provide a completely new campus life with a perfect academic environment with a combination of pen, note and contents.

Galaxy Note 10.1 reproduces the effect of writing on paper using the S-pen which substitutes various styles of pens. It has reinforced the multi-screen function which maximized the practicality of acquiring and recording information.

While carrying the digital innovation and analogue convenience, Galaxy Note 10.1 is gaining popularity among university students. With the introduction of Galaxy Note 10.1,.Samsung expects a change in university students’ paper based writing habits that Net-book or other digital devices failed to change.

A Samsung Electronics employee stated that “Galaxy Note 10.1 will become a symbol of smart campus life as it is optimum for producing creative contents without even having one piece of paper” and added that he expects the device will be an “innovative academic tool especially for economic major students as they learn about effectiveness.”

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is carrying out marketing efforts by installing Galaxy Note 10.1 advertisements on the SKKU baseball court
