The distinguished delegation led by Dr. Bruce Novak, Dean of the School of Natural Science and Mathematics of the University of Texas at Dallas, visited the Natural Sciences Campus on May 18, 2015.
This visit was intended to discuss on the current dual degree program in place between Sungkyunkwan University(SKKU) and UT Dallas and participate in an academic seminar on ‘The Influence of Chirality on Polymers: from Optical Switches to Vapor Sensing’. Dean Novak delivered his insights and findings to the audience and shared ideas about current research progress and trend in polymer and organic chemistry with SKKU faculty, post-docs, and students.
The group also had a chance to have a meeting with the Vice President of International Affairs on the 19th at the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus for furthering bilateral cooperative work in the forthcoming future.
