Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) Academy of East Asian Studies (AEAS) announced that a program concentrating on the Korean and classical Chinese for 7 weeks will starting from July 7 at SKKU’s International Hall.
This program is the first program of the “Inter-University Center (IUC) at SKKU” where 4 graduate students majoring in Korean studies will be participating in the program to acquire the proficiency to carry out professional research in Korean studies. “IUC at SKKU” is an institute where the major Korean Studies related Universities in the World come to together
“I believe this course will be the turning point for Korean Studies.” Head of the IUC and Professor in the Department of Korean Literature at SKKU, Hwang Ho duk remarked, “With a sense of duty, I will do my utmost to take on the responsibility of carrying out world levle research in Korean studies.”
