- 1,000 international Students participate in ‘Bibimbap experience’
- July 8, 12:00~20:00 600 Anniversary Building Cho Byung-do hall
- 1200 students from 44university in 42 countries participated
- Korean food from ‘bibimbap’, ‘pajeon’  to  ‘patbingsu’ were prepared


On July 8, Sungkyunkwan University(SKKU) held its ‘Korean Traditional Food Cooking Event’ for the International Summer Semester(ISS) where international students prepared ‘Bibimbap’ for hundreds of people.

 

The event which took place in the 600th Anniversary Building had the international students preparing Korean traditional food from ‘bibimbap’(rice mixed with asorted vegetables and meat), ‘pajeon’ (welsh-onion pancake)  to ‘patbingsu’(shaved Ice with sweetened red beans).

 

With almost all the international students participating, the affairs was a sight to see with a great size bibimbap bowl placed in the center where hundreds of international students gathered to prepare and eat the food. While on to the sides evenly big preparation tables were set for the ‘pajeon’ and ‘patbingsu’ where  other international students toiled and had fun at the event
