On July 9, president Marcelo Fernandes de Aquino of the University of UNISINOS visited Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) and met with SKKU president Jung Kyun Sang to talk on future cooperative measures for both universities. Especially with the dean from the College of Information and Communication present, talks were made on ways to vitalize the dual degree signed last year, and an agreement was made for student exchange from 2016 that will lead to actual exchange for the dual degree program. Also president Aquino and delegation had a chance to meet with the UNISINOS students studying in SKKU, and were delighted to know how satisfied their students were and expressed gratitude on SKKU’s efforts.
Universtiy of UNISINOS, a university affiliated to the Society of Jesus, is located in São Leopoldo, Brazil. It’s focus is on promoting the field of science & technology and for that purpose, among others, runs a technology park within their campus where 75 companies from 10 countries are participating in.
