International Affairs Division
The International Affairs Division is responsible for university-wide international engagement and coordinating the internationalization efforts of the entire institution.
Office of International Relations
The Office of International Relations manages student exchange, summer and winter short programs, university-wide agreements, and most other forms of international engagement at the institutional level.
Major Responsibilities and Functions
- Establishment and implementation of basic plans to promote international exchanges
- Negotiation of academic/exchange student agreements with foreign universities/institutions
- Operation of exchange programs with foreign universities(faculty, staff, and visiting/exchange students)
- Coordination of summer and winter short programs
- Coordination of events for foreign students in SKKU
- Cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development and various other government sectors related to international relations
- Publication of foreign- language brochures
- Development of foreign - language websites
- Reception of foreign visitors
- Management of the International House (accommodations for foreign guests)
- Management of the International Cooperation Committee
Office of International Student Services
The Office of International Student Services is responsible for relocation & sojourn of international students, supporting their on-campus study and living, and providing career counselling for them.
Major Responsibilities and Functions
- Management of international student visa and periods of stay
- Management of international student study and living support
- Management of Global Korea Scholarship(GKS) Students, Foreign Government Scholarship Students, and Institutional Support Scholarship Students
- Management of scholarship for international student
- Management of international student career development
- Coordinating events for the international community at SKKU
- Management of international student alumni network
- Promotional activity for international student recruitment
